Board Certified Allergist
Dr. Kalfa completed his fellowship in the Department of Allergy and Immunology at UCLA in Los Angeles, California. He served as a resident physician in general pediatrics at Michigan State University and Hurley Medical Center in Flint Michigan. He also completed a research fellowship with the Respiratory and Neurological Medicine Research Unit in Ames, Iowa.
Dr. Kalfa has been practicing in Michigan since 2004. He received his board certification from the American Board of Allergy and Immunology in 2005. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
He has also been Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University and consulting physician at Sparrow Hospital, McLaren Hospital, Clinton Memorial Hospital, Sparrow Ionia Hospital, and Sparrow Carson City Hospital. His practice is limited to the diagnosis and treatment of allergies, asthma, and immunological diseases in children and adults.
Dr. Kalfa is married with two children. When he is not practicing medicine or spending time with his family he enjoys playing tennis, watching soccer,and reading.
