The Allergy and Asthma Clinic of East Lansing, PLLC is committed to helping you manage and maintain your healthcare needs.
Appointments: To schedule an appointment please call (517) 235-5947. We are always accepting new patients. Our receptionist will be glad to assist you with scheduling a time that is convenient for you. We are proud to serve the Lansing/East Lansing, St. Johns, Carson City, and Ionia areas.
Insurance: The Allergy and Asthma Clinic of East Lansing participates with most insurance companies. We accept the following insurances: BCBSM, Blue Care Network, Aetna, United Health Care, SPHN, Physicians Health Plan, Cofinity, McLaren, Medicare, and Medicaid. Please contact our office if your insurance company is not on the list to see if we can accept your insurance.
Referrals/Prior Authorizations: Some insurance carriers require prior authorization from your primary care physician. Failure to obtain authorization will result in no coverage or reduce coverage for services. Please make sure your prior authorization or referral is obtained prior to your appointment.
No Show Policy: When you schedule an appointment with one of our physicians that time is reserved exclusively for you to discuss and review medical concerns. We do understand on occasion unforeseen circumstances do arise and the need to cancel your appointment may be necessary. If you are unable to keep your appointment we request that you contact our office at least 24 hours in advance.
A $50 fee will be assessed for “NO SHOWING” or failing to give notice of the need to cancel a NEW PATIENT appointment.
A $25 charge will be assessed for “NO SHOWING” or failing to give notice of the need to cancel all follow up appointments.
Financial Policy: You will be responsible for any co-pays as determined by your insurance carrier at time of service. It is the responsibility of the patient to know the terms of their coverage. We will assist you to the best of our ability to answer any coverage information.
Patient Portal: Patient Portal is an online system that allows you as the patient to have access to your medical charts. Within this system you can access medical records, request prescription refills, voice a concern, or send a message to our physician. We ask that all PRESCRIPTION REFILL request are sent through this online system. If you need assistance with this program please contact our office at (517) 235-5947.
Emergencies: If you require care after our normal business hours, please contact our office at (517) 235-5947 to reach the on-call physician. If you cannot wait for a returned call please dial 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room.
